Storytelling is in my blood! Whether it's Journalism, Marketing, Acting, Art or even just an everyday conversation- I am practicing my craft.
I am a journalist, and I could continue by giving you a cheesy line like, "I'm a journalist because I want to help inform the public to make good decisions..." yada, yada, yada. I think we all want to do that! The honest reason I started down the journalism path is that I'm curious about everything; especially complex topics and big numbers. I enjoy learning, a mental challenge and figuring out ways to accurately simplify info. Analytics excite me, and I love piecing together how the world works! In a nutshell, I'm hunting for truths.
I have written broadcast stories about everything from politics to dogs and cats. I enjoy all types of stories, but my favorite kind are those that follow the money. I love anything about the economy, public companies and finance! Reading corporate drama is my "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
I am extremely proud to work at WSPA News 7 in Spartanburg, and I couldn't have asked to work with a better News Team!
