Mauldin, SC - Mauldin’s 12th Annual BBQ Festival, SOOIE., is returning to the city with a pig-out featuring food, music, and fun for the whole family.
WHEN: September 16th from 6 PM - 9 PM & September 17th from 11 AM - 3 PM WHERE: The Mauldin Cultural Center
More than 20 cookers from all over the southeast will be competing in a BBQ cook-off, judged by the South Carolina Barbeque association.
On Friday the 16th, the Anything Butt competition will take place, where participating cookers will serve anything "butt" their BBQ. On Saturday, guests can participate in the cook-off by tasting BBQ alongside a certified panel of judges from the SCBA.
Both days will include live music, a kids’ zone, inflatables, face painting, and even fun games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. Drink and dessert vendors will also be on-site, along with the Castillo Mobile Cigar Lounge and The Blood Connection.
Guests can purchase a tasting pass for $10, which will get them 10 tastings of delicious BBQ. Entry and parking for the event are free.
